It’s been one bumpy rollercoaster ride in witnessing everything that’s come to light in wake of former daytime queen Wendy Williams being assigned to a conservatorship. From times when it felt like a fall of her own doing due to a highly-publicized battle with alcohol abuse, to others that truly made you feel the plight of a Black woman being taken advantage of in some cases from those closest to her, overall it hasn’t quite been easy to talk about Wendy for the past three years and counting.

The latest update proves to be none the better, with reports that Williams was taken by ambulance for a wellness check after throwing a sign from a window in her assisted living facility that read “Help! Wendy!”

TMZ was able to grab video from the scene (seen above), which shows Williams being escorted without force by a police officer as many question of she’s in duress. The outlet was able to get more info as well on what she was being tested for yesterday (3/10) at Lenox Hill hospital in Manhattan, seen below:

“The results of the test are radically different from the assessment of the guardian, who has filed legal docs saying her condition is getting worse, not better. Wendy was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a diagnosis she disputes. She was not examined Monday to determine if she has been misdiagnosed.

We’re told the results of the capacity test will be forwarded to the judge in the guardianship case.”

Wendy was reportedly asked 10 specific questions to determine her alertness and determine if she was oriented overall, which TMZ was told she scored a 10/10.

Although passing the capacity test can be seen as a win in proving that she’s operating a full mental capacity, a test to determine whether or not she’s been misdiagnosed has yet to be conducted. We can’t imagine that throwing help signs out of a fifth floor window does any good for her situation, a bit of cabin fever is understandable considering the place is described at best as a “glorified studio apartment” and at worst as a prison.

As always, we’re wishing Wendy Williams all the best in this ongoing situation.
