Victoria Monet Gets Schoolgirl Chic On ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’

Victoria Monet served up a sexy schoolgirl outfit during a recent episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, and we’re obsessed. The Grammy-award-winning singer always slays in the fashion department, but this tan number deserves an A+ and a couple of extra credit points for accessorizing with glasses.

Monet strutted on stage in a cropped Alexander Wang blazer, with a matching pleated skort. She paired the set with a white button-down top and a white cropped top underneath. The singer’s signature blonde tresses cascaded down her back, and her bright smiled beamed through the studio.

The chic look speaks to Monet’s raw sex appeal. The girl could wear a brown paper bag and make it look like it belongs on a Victoria’s Secret runway. She rarely ever misses in the style department, and this fly number is proof. The “Alright” crooner has been working with Kollin Carter, the stylist responsible for Cardi B, Kelly Rowland, and Kysre Gondrezick’s hottest looks.

Jennifer Hudson has a unique way of welcoming her guests to the show. Before the tapes start rolling, her staff lines the hall to sing customized lyrics about the artist to one of their songs. Hudson refers to this as the “Spirit Tunnel.” The guests soak up the moment by dancing down the aisle in a Soul Train-style manner as they accept the warm welcome to the show.

Monet danced down the spirit tunnel to the revised lyrics of her Grammy-award winning song, “On My Mama.”

“On my mama, on JHud, she looks fly, she looks good. Touch her Grammys, wish you could. She looks fly, she looks good!” the staff chanted.
