The Best Looks From The 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony

The 2024 Olympics are officially underway! And with it being held in Paris this year (the first Olympics in Paris in a century by the way) it’s only right that the world’s best athletes stepped out in style.

The Opening Ceremony was held on July 26 and brought out athletes from around the world who graced the city of love in stylish uniforms. Each country’s team’s uniforms were unique to that place, with some designed by extremely, well-renowned designers. From the women to the men, everyone was dressed to impress and had the entire internet talking about their favorite looks ahead of the big games.

Check out some of our favorite teams below.

Team South Sudan

The athletes from South Sudan were decked out in all black suits with gold and white detailing. While each iteration of the ensemble was unique to the player, they were all uniform and in sync with each other. Even LeBron James had to comment on their attire, writing, “them boys was clean AF” with a host of emojis to further emphasize his point.

Team Liberia

Team Liberia also stepped out in style, rocking all black fits designed by Telfar. But it was the uniform’s neckline that garnered the most attention as they were all shaped in the shape of Africa.

Team USA

Sha’Carri Richardson of Team USA added an extra touch to her red, white and blue Ralph Lauren designed uniform. The track athlete donned matching red, white and blue coffin shaped nails for the opening ceremony and was all smiles as she prepared for her first Olympic Games.

Team USA’s basketball captain, Lebron James, also got a chance to show off his stylish side while rocking his Ralph Lauren flagbearer uniform equipped with a white blazer, collared shirt, and denim.

We can’t wait to see more of the global fashion that comes out of this year’s Olympic Games. Until then, we have to know. Which team rocked their uniforms the best?
