‘Real Housewives Of Potomac’ OG Karen Huger Enters Rehab, Skips Season 9 Reunion Show

Bravo recently taped the Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9 reunion in New York City. But one star was noticeably missing. Karen “The Grand Dame” Huger wasn’t there.

Now we know why.

On January 9, Bravo dropped the official reunion seating chart on Instagram, revealing the lineup of stars. Our favorite DMV leading ladies, Stacey Rusch, Wendy Osefo, Mia Thornton, Gizelle Bryant, Keiarna Stewart, and Ashley Darby, were there alongside host Andy Cohen.

Karen, however, was missing in action.

The 61-year-old’s manager, Ryan Tresdale, confirmed her absence in a statement to Bravo TV’s Daily Dish.

“Karen made the important decision to enter a private recovery program, so was unable to attend the reunion taping today,” Ryan said.

He continued, “We stand with her as she makes a significant step forward in her personal growth.”

The news comes on the heels of Karen’s recent DUI conviction. Reports say the star was found guilty in December 2024 after a two-day trial stemming from a March incident involving DUI and reckless driving charges. She is awaiting sentencing later this month.

Fans flood Bravo’s comments asking, ‘Where is Karen?’

Karen’s social media accounts have been quiet since the legal drama unfolded and arrest videos were released. Fans continue to speculate about her next move – and they have a lot to say.

Once the seating chart hit the ‘Gram, fans flooded the comments with questions, jokes, and hot takes. Some questioned the timing of her rehab stay. Others were not happy to see the show without its Grande Dame.

One fan wrote, “Ummmmm, are we missing someone?” Another chimed in, “Karen should be made to come to the reunion. She waited to go to rehab ONLY because she was found guilty. Had she been found not guilty, she would be there.”

Even fellow Bravo Atlanta housewife Porsha Williams wrote, “Where is Karen??”
