Gospel legend Marvin Sapp is stepping into a new musical lane with the release of his brand-new R&B EP, If I Were an R&B Singer! Though known for his soul-stirring gospel hits, Sapp is bringing that same passion and heartfelt emotion to the Rhythm and Blues genre…but, as he notes, only for moment.

Leading up to the release, Sapp took to Instagram to express his excitement of the rollout, sharing, “I’m taking you back to a time when R&B was all about soul, love, and real emotions—not just the physical.” The EP aims to bring back the essence of love—a word mentioned several of hundreds of times in the Bible…after all, God is love!
