Life, Liberty & The Pursuit Of Belonging: Netflix Releases The Official Trailer For Season 2 Of The Award-Winning Comedy ‘Mo’ + New Images

Netflix finally gave us our first look at Season 2 of their award-winning comedy series Mo this week (January 8th). Continue reading to check out the funny, poignant and heartwarming official trailer.

Mo Najjar straddles the line between two cultures, three languages and a ton of bullsh*t as a Palestinian on the path to U.S. citizenship. Season 2 finds Mo stranded across the border and desperate to get back to Houston before his family’s asylum hearing – but as a stateless refugee without a passport, he’s gonna need all the hustle and charm he can muster. Little does he know that the journey home is just the start of his troubles, and there’s a new guy in town ready to steal both his longtime love Maria and his dream of finally returning to Palestine.

Netflix’s award-winning series stars Mohammed “Mo” Amer (Black Adam, Mohammed in Texas), who created the show with Ramy Youssef (Poor Things, Ramy). The show also stars Teresa Ruiz (Narcos: Mexico), Farah Bsieso, Omar Elba (A Hologram for the King), Tobe Nwigwe, Simon Rex (What I Like About You, Scary Movie franchise, National Lampoon’s Pledge This!) and Johanna Braddy (The Grudge 3, Paranormal Activity 3, Quantico). New guest stars this season include Hannibal Buress, Liza Koshy, Matt Rife, Ralph Barbosa and Slim Thug.

In addition to starring in the show, Amer also serves as director and an executive producer alongside Solvan “Slick” Naim (Power, It’s Bruno!). Other executive producers include Harris Danow (Daisy Jones & The Six, Dead to Me), Jacqui Rivera, and Azhar Usman. The A24 produced series will return to Netflix on January 30th, 2025. Just like the first season, season two will consist of eight episodes.
