Elon Musk Gave Out Million-Dollar Checks To Buy The Wisconsin Supreme Court

The evil billionaire, who no one voted for and yet he’s running the country, just gave out million dollar checks to Wisconsin voters, Sunday, to ensure liberal favorite for Wisconsin’s Supreme Court, Susan Crawford loses to conservative darling Brad Schimel.

If Crawford loses Tuesday’s race, Wisconsin’s Supreme Court becomes a conservative MAGA-leaning court that will bend to the president’s will, which is why Musk spent his Sunday doling out cash to some 2,000 people to buy their votes.

Because that’s exactly what Musk was doing. 

“It’s a super big deal,” Musk, wearing a cheese hat, told the crowd in Green Bay on Sunday, the Guardian reports. “I’m not phoning it in. I’m here in person.”

Wisconsin is a battleground state which is why Musk and the groups he supports have spent more than $20 million trying to get Schimel onto the court.

“I think this will be important for the future of civilization,” he said. “It’s that significant.”

Musk might be a lot of things but being fully stupid isn’t one of them. He’s smart enough to know that the court will be deciding important voting issues, like the redistricting of congressional districts, which has a direct impact on who controls the House.

“And if the [Wisconsin] supreme court is able to redraw the districts, they will gerrymander the district and deprive Wisconsin of two seats on the Republican side,” Musk claimed. “Then they will try to stop all the government reforms we are getting done for you, the American people.”

That isn’t necessarily true, but you know the Trump administration loves to create the most dire and fear-inducing situations to get what they want. Just because a court consists of liberal-leaning judges doesn’t mean that they will vote for that way. 

For instance, Josh Kaul, the Wisconsin Attorney General, tried to stop Musk from buying votes but the state supreme court, which is now controlled 4-to-3 by liberal justices, refused to “take the case as an original action,” the Guardian reports.

Two lower courts had already rejected Kaul’s attempt to stop Musk’s vote buying.  

“Wisconsin law prohibits offering anything of value to induce anyone to vote,” Kaul argued in his filing. “Yet, Elon Musk did just that.”

Musk’s attorneys claimed that evil Ritchie Rich wasn’t buying votes, he was merely exercising free speech with giveaways. Basically, he was just South African Oprah. 

“The payments are ‘intended to generate a grassroots movement in opposition to activist judges, not to expressly advocate for or against any candidate,’” Musk’s attorneys argued in court filings, the Guardian reports. 

Schimel is a Trump guy and even wore a “Make America Great Again” hat while campaigning Sunday. Of course he’s doing the thing where he’s acting like all of the spending on his behalf is out of his control and he can’t stop it because what else is he supposed to do? 

In an interview with Republican OnlyFans more commonly called, Fox News, Schimel claimed, “any of the spending from any outside group, whether it’s Elon Musk or anyone else” is out of his control. He claims that the only thing Trump asked of him was to “reject activist judges” and follow the law, which is hilarious considering Trump has trouble following the law himself. 

“That’s exactly what I’ve committed to anybody, whether it’s President Trump, Elon Musk or any donors and donors or supporters or voters in Wisconsin. That’s my commitment,” Schimel told Fox News Sunday.

Yeah, right.
