Cardi B Files For Divorce From Offset…Again

Well it looks like Cardi B is once again pulling the plug on her marriage to Offset… and it looks like this filing is sticking.

Cardi’s rep confirmed the news to Page Six, saying that she is not folding this time around. She is seeking primary custody of the couple’s two kids, 5-year-old daughter Kulture and 2-year-old son Wave. There are also rumors that Cardi is pregnant with a third child, but neither party has confirmed that.

As for what caused the split, a source familiar with the situation told Page Six that the recent cheating rumors surrounding Offset is not the reason.

“They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” the insider claimed. “This is something she wants to do.”

The divorce seemingly did not come as a surprise to Offset, since they’ve been trying to figure things out for a while. It appears that the split is amicable.

“It’s not something that happened overnight… They’ve both been on the same page. There wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger overtime. It’s become unavoidable,” the insider added.

The couple quietly tied the knot in September 2017, but they have split up numerous times throughout the marriage. Just last year, Cardi shared on Instagram that she’d been “single for a minute.”

However, the pair have been spotted several times over the past few months in an attempt to make things work, and Offset even directed Cardi’s music video for “Like What (Freestyle).”

Today, it seems that Cardi is now fully prepared to move on.

“She has no ill-will towards him,” says a source. She’s wishing him the best. She’s not going into this next season [of her life] with any beef or any drama. She wants everything to be very peaceful.”
