Magic Johnson Adds Another DC Team To His Ownership Roster

Magic Johnson confirmed on an “CBS Mornings” appearance that he is partnering with Michele Kang to join the ownership group of the Washington Spirit. Michele Kang is the first woman of color to hold a majority stake in an National Women’s Soccer League team and the duo was excited discuss their plans for the Spirit as the team currently sits in 2nd place on the NWSL standings.

With this team addition, the NBA Hall of Famer now a partner in ownership of 5 teams in major USA sports; The Washigton Commanders (NFL), The Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA), The Dodgers (MBL), Los Angeles Football Club (MLS) and The Washington Spirit (NWSL).
