Melyssa Ford Glows In Gold While Earning Gracie Award Win

The self proclaimed “Pod Queen” Melyssa Ford dressed to impress for the 50th Annual Gracie Awards Gala (The Gracie Awards) in Beverly hills on Tuesday. Dolled up in a breathtaking gold gown from the Walter Mendez Atelier Collection, Ford lit up the room as she mingled with some of the most influential women in media. Her radiant look, paired with her confident presence, made her a standout at the annual Gracie Awards Gala, a prestigious event that celebrates the accomplishments of women across various sectors of media.

Ford paired the gown with a beautiful high ponytail, smokey eye shadow, and simple yet elegant earrings. But the highlight of the night occurred when Ford won a Gracie Award herself. The win was well deserved. Ford hosts “Hot & Bothered With Melyssa Ford” and is a co-host on “The Joe Budden Podcast.”

Melyssa Ford thanked her team and The Gracies Awards for the honor.

The 48-year-old star took to Instagram on Thursday to reflect on the huge honor and thank her fans and team for their support. 

“I have so many thoughts I don’t even know how to properly articulate how incredible this night was!,” she captioned a slideshow of the moment she received her prestigious award.“THANK YOU to @allwomeninmedia for such a prestigious award in recognition of all my hard work and dedication to my mission. Thank you to @waltercollection @daniellepremone@sterlingforever @elaboratefaces for putting together my look for the evening,” the media titan continued. “I felt like a PRINCESS! Congratulations to all of the winners that night, including my girl @angelayee. I was in awe of the power, beauty & strength in that one room. I left so INSPIRED.”

Before signing off, Ford added, “And last but certainly not least: my team at @hotnbotheredpodcast @rachel_the_realtor @iamsebastien@gvifilms @itsaking  @thevyrlmedia we have done so much heavy lifting and all wear so many hats. Presented by the Alliance for Women in Media, the Gracie Awards recognize excellence in programming created by, for, and about women. Honorees are selected from across National Television, National Radio, Non-Commercial Syndicated Radio, and National Digital Media. The gala serves not only as a celebration of individual achievement but also as a powerful reminder of the progress being made toward equity and representation in media. 

The evening was filled with excitement, glamour, and purpose as leaders, creators, and changemakers gathered to honor the contributions of women whose work shapes the industry. Angela Yee, CBS News anchor Norah O’Donnell, and several other high power women in media attended the event.
